News articles may be used to display news information on the 'In the News' section of the public website. You may also choose to use a news article solely for sending out by email, in which case, it won't be accessible from the public website pages but will appear below under 'Other News Article' ready to be sent. The third option may be to save the article as a draft or archived version which will remove it from the public pages and from use with any future electronic mailing.

The page is split into 4 boxes that manage the news articles as they are added:

Latest News

This box always holds the newest article by the date of the news article. It's a quick reference for manageing the most recent article allowing you to save the initial article as a draft and refer back to it, quickly, for editing and publishing when ready.

Public News

This list holds all the articles that are currently visible on the 'In the News' page of the public website. You are given 4 options for each item, which is to edit, archive, delete or send the article as an email.

Other News Article

This list is used to manage all the articles that are added, purely, to be sent out as an email or part of the newsletter, but not for displaying on the public website. This could be used for sending branded emails to members only.

Archive News

This list contains all articles that have been archived. Archive news articles will not display on the public 'in the news' page, but they will be displayed in the archived current issues page, if the article is not specifically created for mail purposes only.
