Countdown to FLOODrisk 2012 - 13 September 2012

We hope you have all enjoyed a relaxing Summer break? The FLOODrisk 2012 Organising Committee has been working hard during recent months and we'd like to bring a few items to your attention. 

Firstly we have released the detailed programme on the website as a pdf download. If you haven't yet downloaded a copy please do so from here - http://www.floodrisk2012.net/programme.asp. We have combined 169 presentations, 9 poster sessions, 13 special sessions, 11 keynote speakers, 3 technical tours, 1 partner excursion, a welcome reception and conference dinner into 3 full days to provide you with the very best flood risk management conference of 2012. 

We are also delighted to announce that we have managed to negotiate an extension to our hotel special rates that was due to end today. All four of our specially selected hotels have agreed to extend the special rates until 30th September giving you a month to make your decision, should you require too. If you are subscribed to receive news updates from the website you will shortly be receiving an article with details of each hotel. Alternatively please visit the accommodation page of the website - http://www.floodrisk2012.net/accommodation.asp. As the hotels kindly agreed to the extension we have decided to extend our standard registration fee to the 30th September also. This means you have until the end of the month to register knowing you are receiving the very best rates possible for FLOODrisk 2012. 

We would finally like to announce that the technical tours are officially available to register to on the website. If you haven't already registered you may select the tour(s) you wish to attend, during the registration process. If you have already registered or expressed an interest you may now login in to amend your booking, select the tours tab and apply for the tours you'd like to attend. More information about the confirmed day, times and costs for each tour are available on our website at http://www.floodrisk2012.net/tours.asp.
